Stack effect: ( n -- n )
Compute the tangent the top element of the stack.
This word is roughly equivalent to the traditional Forth word FTAN. tan is used to emphasize the primary stack being floating point.
NOTE: In Haiku Forth (unlike Traditional Forth), all stack cells and memory locations are floating point numbers.
